Is there a free 90 kb pdf converter that works on my phone?

I need to upload an application from my phone, but the portal strictly requires the PDF to be under 90 KB. Every mobile tool I use outputs massive files, so is there anything free that can compress or convert it down to that tiny limit?

had the same thing last month. getting a pdf that small from my phone was a pain because everything came out huge. tbh i just took super low res photos of the pages and used the phone’s gallery to make a pdf. it kinda worked after cropping a lot but not sure if thats enough for an application.

90 KB is very small, but try rescanning in black-and-white, crop tightly, and use 100 dpi if the app allows it. PDF24’s browser compressor is free and works on phones. Avoid uploading applications with medical, financial, or ID details to unknown converter sites; if 90 KB makes it unreadable, ask the portal owner.

90 KB is rough, I feel your pain, we see this at the campus help desk all the time. If your PDF is basically photos of the document, those images are what’s bloating it. Try iLovePDF’s free compressor on the extreme setting, it works fine in a phone browser. If it’s still too big, rescan in black and white at 150 dpi, wich usually shrinks files a ton.

90 KB is brutal, that’s basically a text file with delusions of grandeur. If your PDF is mostly a scanned image, the file size problem is really an image problem.

  1. Try reducing it before it even becomes a PDF, lower the camera scan resolution or photo quality first.
  2. If you’ve already got a PDF, open it and screenshot each page, then rebuild a lower res version.
  3. Keep the original saved somewhere safe, you’ll want it if the portal rejects your squashed version.

Avoid repeatedly compressing the same file over and over, quality drops fast and it still might not hit 90 KB.
