# How to sign a PDF when signing is not allowed?

I’ve got a PDF where the signature option is greyed out, so I can’t add my name to it. I need to sign this form for a deadline, but the file seems locked. What can I do?

had the same thing last month. i printed the form, signed it by hand and scanned it with my regular printer. if no scanner a phone pic is usually enough for deadlines. tbh thats what i do with locked pdfs from clients too.
