My iPhone storage is completely full right now and I need to forward a huge 50-page PDF manual I found in my mobile browser to a coworker. Is there any way to share the PDF file directly online without having to download it to my device first?

had the same thing last month with one of my planner files. if the pdf is open in safari just copy the url from the top and paste it into a message or email to your coworker. nothing gets saved on your phone that way. tbh that’s the only thing that works when storage is maxed.

I’ve run into this with supplier manuals. In Safari, try the Share button on the PDF page and choose Mail or Messages; if it only shares the webpage, copy the PDF’s direct link and send that instead.

Full phone storage when you need to send something is the worst. Since the manual is open in your browser, tap the address bar at the top of Safari, hit copy, and paste that link into a text. Your coworker can open the page on their end without any downloads. Once you clear space, use [pdfcap.com](http://pdfcap.com) to shrink those massive files down.

If the PDF has a public URL, use Safari’s Share button and send “Copy Link” through Mail or Messages. That shares the online file without saving it locally. If they need an attachment, upload it to cloud storage first, but avoid random upload sites for private manuals.

If the PDF is already open in Safari, tap the Share button and see whether Mail, Messages, or your cloud app can send the page or file directly. Sometimes Safari has to cache the whole PDF first, though, so it may still hit the storage limit. If it’s from a public webpage, I’d usually copy the PDF’s direct address and send that to the coworker instead.

If the PDF opened from a web address, you don’t need the file at all, just share the link. Tap the share icon in Safari, hit Copy, then paste that URL into a text or email for your coworker. They can download it on their end instead. I do this all the time at the help desk when my phone is stuffed with photos, works like a charm.
