I have an ebook in mobi that I need as pdf to read on my phone but the formatting keeps breaking whenever I try converting it myself. Can anyone recommend a converter that actually works?

had the same thing last month with some files for my shop. converting always wrecks the formatting tbh so i just stopped trying. fwiw i read the original on my phone with whatever app already supports it instead of making a pdf. that way nothing breaks.

Try Calibre on desktop and set the PDF page size to match your phone before converting. MOBI is reflowable, so complex layouts may still shift; avoid random online converters if the ebook is private. If reading is the only goal, a MOBI-compatible reader will usually look better than PDF.
